A message from Guruji to you all – May 2023

“When I was given the meditation techniques by my guru I resolved to practice them every day without fail. This is because I knew that what he had given me would take me to God and I did not want to miss that. I was willing to miss anything else in life, but not God. Even when I was in bed with a fever and aching body, I still did some meditation practice as best as I could, because I did not want to miss it. I urge you, if you are not regular in your meditation practice, to deeply think how important knowing God is to you. Think about what it will feel like if you miss your opportunity to know Him in this life. If you desire to know God in this life, and you want to receive liberation from reincarnation on this earth, firmly resolve now that whatever happens you will always practice your meditation every day without fail. It is better to miss food, sleep or social engagements etc, if you have to, in order to make time for God. Practicing your meditation and developing the spiritual qualities is the part that you play in your search for God. When you do your part, God and Gurus are then able to lift you up higher in God consciousness. But you must be determined and discipline yourself.

Once you have established your meditation routine for some time it will become natural and easy for you. Make sure that you practice all of the meditation techniques that I have given you. If you miss out even one of them, your meditation will not go as well as it should. Do not practice them just to get them done, without any enthusiasm. It is vital that when you sit down to meditate, that you practice the techniques with great care and attention. When you do puja to God, you do it with reverence and devotion. You do not do your puja like you are just doing it for the sake of it. Likewise, your meditation practice is an ‘inner puja’ to the God inside of you. Once you have bowed to God and Gurus at the start of your meditation, God is there with you during your meditation. Practice your techniques as an ‘inner puja’ to God and then become absorbed in His Divine presence. These techniques have the great power of Lord Shiva imbued in them, and they have been given to the world by His wish and that of Mahavatar Babaji, the great deathless Guru. Many of you who have received these techniques can attest to their power and the vibrations of God that you feel when practicing them. To reach the heights of God awareness – the Bliss that is inside you, you must undergo a purification process.
This process requires daily, deep practice of the meditation techniques that I have given you. There is karma that is stored up inside of you that needs to be burnt and your higher centres of Divine awareness need to be gradually awakened. Your body needs to be made ready to handle the strong current of Divine energy, and your mind needs to be made ready to handle it. This inner purification and awakening happens by the regular practice of the meditation techniques and by the grace of God and Gurus. Haphazard practice will not facilitate this process. Know that this is a lifelong commitment, not something that will happen in a year or two. You are all at different stages of spiritual development, and so for some of you practising meditation will come quite easily to you, and for others it will take some time to be able to concentrate and calm the mind, which will be achieved through sustained practice. Rest assured though, even if you are not able to concentrate well in the beginning, the ‘effort’ that you make in your meditations will propel you along the spiritual path regardless. Please understand that practicing other meditation techniques as well as these will only stunt your spiritual growth, not improve it. Once you have found your spiritual path stick to it and have great faith in it.

Youare given spiritual experience to show you that this path is real. Many people who practice other meditation techniques hardly feel anything at all for many years, but through their faith in the path they continue their practice regardless. Many of the sincere students on this path of the Yoga of Lord Shiva are blessed with the experience of God straight away; whether it is in the form of stillness, vibrations or Light at the Third Eye, vision of Lord Shiva and the Gurus, a change in their life through the intercession of the guru or deep Peace and Joy. I urge you not to let yourself become consumed by worry, because this will have such a detrimental effect on your life. I see people who let themselves become overcome by worry and distress and it overpowers their lives. Their worry stops them from meditating and thinking about God, because their worry is always in their mind. Trust that as a devotee, God is looking after you. Difficulties will come and go, but there is nothing to be afraid of. Do not give undue importance to worldly things. Do whatever you need to do to overcome any difficulties that you may have in this world, and at the same time be completely detached.

The attainment of Self Realisation is the purpose of this path, and you shall have it, but only if you go the distance and make your search for God of supreme importance to you. When God is of supreme importance to you, you will not miss your meditations for anything and you will always think of Him. May the desire for God be supreme in your life, and may His Love descend down upon you. Love and blessings always, Jagatguru Satyam

Guruji’s message to you all on 1st April 2023

“Pranam and greetings to you all. I hope that you are all happy and doing well.

I want to bring to your attention something important that Lord Shiva told me just recently.

Lord Shiva explained what happens with people who ask Him or God for material things or for help with their material life when on this spiritual path. He said that their prayer for material help taints the base of their spiritual life. Because of this, any devotion that they offer Him doesn’t reach Him. This is because as soon as they offer their devotion to Him it will rest on the base of their spiritual life before going to Him. If their spiritual base has been tainted by prayers for material help it will immediately break and their offering will fall down.

Lord Shiva said that you must make the base of your spiritual life strong, and the only way that you can do that is by only praying to God for Him to help you to know Him more deeply or for help with your spiritual life, nothing else. God will take care of your material needs automatically if you are devoted to Him, so there is no need to pray for that.

There are millions of people at the religion stage of their life who only ask God for things of the world and that is ok at their stage of spiritual development. When you are at the spiritual stage of your development, as those of you who are on the path of the Yoga of Lord Shiva are, you can’t afford to waste your prayer on anything but to have the lotus feet of God. You have the opportunity to truly know God in this life and be liberated at the end of it if you are fully devoted to Him.

When God sees that in your heart you desire only Him, regardless of what is happening in your life, He will come to you. Having God, you will have everything.”

Guruji’s message to you all on 26th January 2023

“My Guruji Mahavatar Babaji has told me that he is pleased with my disciples as they are dedicated to the spiritual path. He then said that they need to be more surrendered to God.

It is a great blessing to hear that Mahavatar Babaji is pleased that those of you who are following this path are dedicated, because it is only those who are dedicated who will reach their goal of Self-realisation, which is what I want for you all.

I understand that not all of you who are reading this message are still practising the meditation that I taught you or perhaps not very regularly, and that is fine as everyone goes at their own pace. What Guruji told me is about those of you who are doing your best to follow this Yoga of Lord Shiva path.

My help is always there for you regardless of your level of practice. If some of you who have not practiced this meditation for a long time would like to attend another Third Eye Awakening and OM Meditation class you are very welcome to.

Now to address the second part of what Mahavatar Babaji said about you needing to be more surrendered to God.

It is normal not to be surrendered to God when you are starting on the spiritual path in this life or when you are still learning. It is not to say that some of you are not surrendered because some of you are. The point is, being surrendered to God on the spiritual path is of extreme importance.

What does it mean to be surrendered to God?

It means that you understand that all that happens to you in life is God’s will for you, and that you completely accept everything that He gives you without any resistance to it. If you have complete faith in God, you will be able to completely surrender to Him.

It is your struggle with what life (God) gives you that shows that you are not surrendered. Accepting what God gives you unconditionally gives you a level of peace in your life. If what you have been given is a difficulty that can be removed with effort then you should strive to remove that difficulty, but don’t struggle with the fact that God has given you that difficulty in the first place. If you are at odds with what God is doing in your life then you are not leaving yourself open completely to His grace that will draw you closer and closer to Him. It is only when you are truly surrendered to God that you can realise your onenesss with Him in Self-realisation.

I am not expecting you all to be fully surrendered to God straight away because it takes time to build that surrender with your increasing faith in Him. But one day you can make that leap of being surrendered to Him no matter what He does to you, because your faith in His wisdom and divinity will be untouchable. God will help you with building your faith in Him and surrender to Him by giving you certain experiences that reinforce that faith. Whether it is the gurus’ intercession at times of troubles or the divine upliftment that they bless you with, or how God manifests to you in your meditation or in outside life. God will test your faith and surrender as you progress on the spiritual path, and if you pass the tests He will lift you up higher to Him accordingly. Those who reach the heights of awareness of God enjoy the deep inner peace and tranquility of His presence, His uplifting Joy and all-consuming Bliss.

Don’t be hard on yourself if you lose faith in God momentarily if something happens to you in your life that seems to be far beyond your comfort zone. Everyone has to learn to build the necessary understanding and trust. Aways remember God will never give you something that you can’t handle, even if you can’t see it at the time. If you fall, just pick yourself up and carry on going with a renewed spirit and you will succeed. Have the attitude that you will never give up on any tests of life and with that firm resolution you will succeed. Remember whatever you go through in life, God and gurus are always holding your hand. Remember to hold their hand back and you will always have all of the strength that you need.

So, from today onwards say “Lord I am happy with whatever you give me because I know it is the next step on the ladder of Self-realization. I will strive to look upon all that You give me with the right attitude and use it to grow spiritually. Whether I have to muster the strength to overcome a trial that you give me, or endure a great difficulty for some time, or practice a spiritual quality such as tolerance towards others, I will do so gladly with Your name on my lips and love in my heart for You. I am Yours, all that is in my life is Yours, I humbly offer myself and my life to You wrapped in a bouquet of love and devotion. Take me into your heart of Love and never leave me again. All I want is You, nothing else has any value except Your Lotus Feet my Beloved. Do with me what You will, but never leave me my Beloved Lord.”
